Die Grundidee ist ebenso genial wie einfach: Aus Sonnenstrom wird Gas produziert. Die ch-Solar AG, einer unserer Fachpartner aus der Schweiz, hat an der Technischen Hochschule Rapperswil ein Photovoltaiksystem für eine solche Power-to-Gas-Pilotanlage installiert. Mithilfe des Solarstroms wird erneuerbares Methan als Treib- oder Brennstoff produziert. Die Anlage dient als Pilot- und Demonstrationsanlage, deren Betrieb auch wissenschaftlich begleitet wird. The largest PV system of the Swedish furniture company to date was recently put into operation at a Swiss store. „Wohnst du noch, oder lebst du schon?“ Dieser Werbespruch von IKEA muss jetzt durch „Erzeugst du schon, oder verbrauchst du noch?“ ergänzt werden. Vor kurzem wurde auf einer Schweizer Filiale die bislang größte PV-Anlage des schwedischen Möbelhauses in Betrieb genommen.
