We reported on the busy weeks of our Turkish regional company IBC SOLAR Turkey last summer. This included five major projects being implemented simultaneously. The first projects have now been connected to the grid; including a 1.1 MWp project in the province of Eskişehir. We are expecting a PV expansion of between 1 and 1.5 GW for the entire Turkish market in 2017 – despite the bureaucratic hurdles for project development. (mehr…)

Im Sommer letztes Jahres haben wir von den arbeitsreichen Wochen unserer türkischen Regionalgesellschaft IBC SOLAR Turkey berichtet. Gleich fünf Großprojekte wurden zeitgleich umgesetzt. Nun sind die ersten Projekte ans Netz gegangen; darunter ein 1,1-MWp-Projekt in der Provinz Eskişehir. Für das Jahr 2017 rechnen wir für den gesamten türkischen Markt mit einem PV-Zubau zwischen 1 und 1,5 GW – trotz bürokratischer Hürden für die Projektentwicklung. (mehr…)
South Africa is an attractive solar market with rapid market growth and more than 300 sunny days a year. We want to use this chance and decided to open our own regional company in South Africa. Since 2014 we have been working together exclusively with our partner maxx | solar energy (Pty) Ltd. in the South African market. Now the new company IBC SOLAR South Africa (Pty) Ltd. with headquarters in Cape Town has been formed in conjunction with maxx | solar energy. (mehr…)
How is it possible to reuse a disused stone and earth open pit mine in an economically viable and environmentally friendly manner? The town of Meyenburg in the district of Prignitz (Brandenburg) which did not want to leave the land of its former gravel pit lying fallow was faced with this question. The solution: A solar park with an output of 7.45 megawatts which produces green electricity for approximately 2,400 average households per year. (mehr…)
